The Rubini’s Realm

Feels like home, today I came back home.

Heart feels very heavy to let go that place after being 2 days there.

Stepping down on that ground of Cheltenham, memories flash back. Happy, sad, childish behaviours, naughty stuff that we have done, getting drunk for the first time, all the hardship that I went through growing up to be independent, all the embarrassment that I had to undergo, all the funny gestures.

In conclusion, I missed this place sooooo much, that I did not realize till I actually went back. Now, to leave, its painful to leave and just to take the memories with me. Stepping foot on that bus and to look back the place that feels so much close to home, I can just say ‘Goodbye’ and wait for another opportunity to return to this wonderful heaven.

Anyways, let me tell you my experience for these days that I stayed in my friends place. There were such a wonderful people. Jocelyn and I stayed in their house.

First Night: Getting Drunk!!!

We arrived at the Royal Well Bus Station and there was one of our friend waiting for our arrival, named Pei Man. Then we walked our way to the bus stop to take the bus service C to get to the big Tesco, which is near their house. Not really knowing when to press the button to signal the bus driver to stop, we were lucky as our other 2 friends, Hui Bee and Bee Peng were waiting at the bus stop that the bus driver stopped thinking that they wanted to get on the bus. We got out of the bus and made our way to the Tesco to buy alcohol for the night to get drunk (not entirely … but sort of!!).

We got to their house after that and it was just a walking distance from the Tesco. We changed ourselves and slipped into something comfortable. Had a little look around the house and finally prepared tables and cups to get drinking. We also played games that night that made us laugh so loud that I think the neighbours would have had a hard time sleeping that night. (Sorry!) It was such a happy moment!

Nearly 3am, we got really tired and sleepy that we decided to end the night for that day and curled ourselves into those cozy blankets.

Second Night: Chiquito…

We woke up quite early I must say. Didn’t really like that feeling to wake up early but I guess we were not able to sleep anyway. Hui Bee and I did not have a good sleep at all. Hui Bee kept saying that she wants to go and sleep again, but she never did. HAhahahah!!

I was not able to sleep because of my asthma and as for Hui Bee she kept hearing me sneezing and stuff. Hehe !! (Sorry la Hui Bee, can’t really control)

We cooked Bakuteh for the day and cleaned the place, as their house has not been cleaned for such a long time. Hehaahahah!! We were like their house cleaner!!
