The Godfather Trilogy
By Karthik | May 14, 2008
I pampered myself with one of the all time great trilogy, The Godfather. I watched Godfather so long ago that I wasnt able to remember even the tiniest detail of the movie. All I could remember is the brief outline of the story in summary, and nothing more than that.

I call it pampering myself, because good movies like that, they make me happier than the booze! I’m not a drunkard btw.
There are tonnez and tonnez of reviews that could go in absolute detail of the whole movie, and since the movie could also be considered ancient, all I could say about The Godfather trilogy is that, it is one movie that is absolutely flawless. Critics can absolutely find the flaws, but that’s what critics are. They don’t take in the movie as a whole, and they downplay their very own intelligence.

Strangely, I also happen to have a great number of people who do not know the existence of The Godfather trilogy and that became the fuel for me to blog about it. The Godfather trilogy has been awarded many awards including best picture and has many nomination. If you’re the movie person, and if you need to pamper yourself, nothing does it better than watching The Godfather =) Even that itself, is an understatement!
The story begins as “Don” Vito Corleone, the head of a New York Mafia “family”, oversees his daughter’s wedding. His beloved son Michael has just come home from the war, but does not intend to become part of his father’s business. Through Michael’s life the nature of the family business becomes clear… (IMDB)
