Perfection

I’m bathing myself in the success of being perfect. What exactly is being perfect? It’s about having dark circles. Due to the lack of sleep, either by working or studying late night. Or just living, the life. Through parties or night life. Whatever it really is, it is about being tired and being fresh. It is about being sick and being healthy. In other words, it’s about having balance. The ups and downs that people often mention. It is totally about that.
To me, that’s perfection.
But there’s more. There’s you. My love life has always been one that is discreet and secret. I never really shared much of what I have inside the heart of mine. Therefore, you could as well be my illusion. I have my own accounts of being delusional, and you might have just been the same. I can no longer hold you, no longer touch you, no longer press my lips against yours. As melodramatic as it sounds, you are just so far away from me right this moment.
The tears that flow, isn’t mine. It isn’t yours. Whose is it then? I really wonder…
But, bending that edge, perfections to me, in definition, is you. Your beauty, speaks to me in a language unknown to others. People coined the saying, “beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder”. But what really lies in with the beholder is, not the eyes, but the heart. And it can make all the difference in this world!
