I make money with these!

By Karthik | January 12, 2008

This is what I have signed up to make money online.

Well, I know I should have shared these before, but only now I got down to it. Well, it’s always better to be late than never, right? ;) So, let me share with you what I have currently implemented on my blog, which you too could implement on your blogs, and open doors to monetizing your blog/website and make money through it!

BidVertiser

Bidvertiser is a CPC ad network. CPC means cost-per-click (CPC) which is based on advertising click-throughs. This is indeed a direct competitor to Google Adsense. The difference between Bidvertiser and Google Adsense is that you only need to make a minimum of $10 to receive a payment. Unlike Google, you need to make $100 before you could cash out your payment. This is definitely a great advantage!

On a personal note: You could also utilize Bidvertiser to the maximum, by putting it into your RSS feeds as well. This is a great advantage because your typical RSS feed doesn’t include the advertisements. To sign up, all you have to do is sign up with Bidvertiser and then they will give you a verification code and then you move to the next step.

Kontera Contentlink

The idea of ads that turns certain words into an advertisement is one that really impresses me. And that’s what Kontera Contentlink is all about. It’s an ad network that makes it possible to make money by advertising, without losing your advertising spots!

Nuffnang Ads

For the Malaysians and Singaporeans only.

This is a great local advertising network that allows bloggers to make money from their blog. Their minimum cash out point is RM50, which means, you could easily make money out of it and cash out instantly.

So far, these 3 are the only ones I have implemented on this blog. (Just like most of you, I share the very same opinion that a site packed with too many ads is a total put off!)

I also would like to remind you, that my purpose of blogging is not entirely to make money. Reading the about section would give you an idea of why I actually created this blog. But to those who find it a hassle to browse through my about section, well, I mainly blog to add a sense of values in blogging. I’m literally saying I blog with honesty and sincerity in mind. Otherwise, I wouldn’t have chosen to blog. Because, first principle to blogging: BE PASSIONATE!

And so, I wish you guys good luck in monetizing your blog! Remember, a blog is all about its contents, and advertising is just an addition to your blog! Let’s work on keeping it real. As I discover further, I would give you an exact outline on what I have done. There’s nothing for me to hide, we can surely make money through blogging, if you stick with me! =)

Say goodbye to Widgetbucks. They have decided to let those blogs with traffic from US/Canada to earn. If you have an Asian blog, can drop those widgets now

XpressNick: True. Somehow, I was ignorant towards that, but thanks alot because your comment has also benefited others! Great! I have removed Widgetbucks entirely!

XpressNick, thanks for the info. 50% of my traffic is from Asian.

    Thanks for sharing, aye. ;)

Regarding Kontera, please find my thoughts as follow:
I detest Kontera’s pop up ads to the very bone!
    Totally extremely irritating!

After some time, I discovered that I developed a habit to avoid hovering my mouse over such annoying pop-up ads.

If I had a phaser that I could use to blast those bloodly annoying pop-up ads into a gazillion nano microscopic pieces, I would gladly do so.

Deimos Tel`Arin: That’s a thought I am definitely going to take into account. For me, somehow, the readers comfort are one of the most important. I will see how Kontera is performing on this blog, and in a few weeks, I should be able to make a sound choice of what additions and deductions I should implement on this blog. Thanks for sharing that great thought! =)

I’m impressed to hear someone say they are not entirely fixated on making money. And WOW! Honestly and Sincerity…perhaps you need to write an e-book for the blogosphere.

theBloggerazzi: I’m still on the edge of experiencing and learning. When I do get the hang of it, I would most definitely. Thanks for the support! =)
