Excuse me, another Advertlets-down on the way!

OMG! I just got back home after 4 hours of drive to Johor and return (Johor is a state in Peninsular Malaysia). I was going through the posts in Nuffnang’s Innit, and I was really shocked! There were a lot of posts that were entitled with ‘Advertlets’. Every post was giving the worst remark a ‘company’ could have. It was really shocking, especially when I decided to visit Advertlets page to check it out myself. On their page, it’s stated that the domain name has expired!

To those who have earned through Advertlets, your earnings wont go missing. Read their web log on their .com itself, should be explained there.

I do not feel the pain. I was just shocked, because I had Advertlets once, when it was still new and fresh, on my ex-blog pages. But as you can see in this blog, I never had Advertlets up here and thank god I didn’t, because..well you just have to listen to this people who had entirely been ‘hurt’ by Advertlets.

There are in total 3 Advertising Networks in Malaysia at the moment, Nuffnang, Nufflets, and Grabmyads. The way I see it, Nuffnang has a long way to go. And the future for Nuffnang seems promising because they have what the other networks lack, and that is the Nuffnang Community!

Noorizam Shah: I wouldn’t mind! Wherever there is potential, there definitely will be a great amount of support. As we could see for ourselves now, Nuffnang has been one of the most promising advertising network =)

I had the same problem too.
Vanessa: I’m really sorry to hear that. But now that you have removed their ad, my only question would be, once they are back up, would you put their ads again? :/

Its extremely dissapointing..This supposed a mainstream ad company and they forgetting to do a simple thing like renewing the website! Shows their comitment

I was also flabbergasted when I saw the expiry note. I have just started to make money. I even rechecked the URL.. I was right.
I wonder how they could be careless or the care less about the blogger’s whom have been feeding their banner’s in the space. Anyway let’s wait and see.
ck: Let’s wait and see what they are finally going to say. I heard there would be some compensation. But, let’s just wait… =)
